The Challenge
Years of acquisitions and a hard CRM/ERP cut-over that left history behind. An external migration mis-set contract dates from invoicing cadence; multi-year agreements fractured into annual records; no identifier tied a contract to its source agreement — so every fix was manual and error-prone.
The Approach
Ingest every document and extract fields with source citations. Validate against a defined schema, flagging date, currency, billing-frequency and indexation mismatches. Map into an additive custom Agreement object linked to each account — never overwriting existing data — then link contracts to agreements.
The Build
A reasoning-based extraction engine that reads footnotes, tables and handwriting; a human-in-the-loop review surface; and a re-runnable ingestion pipeline that can be pointed at the next M&A deal without rebuilding.
The Outcome
A single source of truth across thousands of contracts, owned by the company — recovered revenue that had been leaking through mis-dated renewals, and a repeatable pipeline for every future acquisition.
